Everyone, no matter their age, has been tempted to take a good nap once and while. While some people don’t think of napping as something that adults do, the good news is that the occasional nap can be very beneficial to health. Many people know the feeling of that afternoon lull but don’t always realize that a short nap can help reenergize their day—especially when the duration of the nap is limited to between 10 and 30 minutes and taken at the most optimal time, midafternoon. Napping can be very beneficial to health, but not always. For those who suffer from insomnia, taking a nap during the day can actually exacerbate the sleeping issues they may already be experiencing.
